The Internet

The Internet
The Internet has become the most powerful communication tool used throughout the world.  High school and university students, business people, and homemakers are just three specific examples of people who are spending hours and hours in front of their computer screens surfing the Net.  High school and university students, for instance, go on-line first for studying, doing homework, and looking for information to enlarge their knowledge.  Business people on the other hand, have discovered that Internet allows people to exchange business information across vast distances all over the world.  At the present time for example, they are using this overuse phenomenon known as Internet, for promoting, purchasing, and selling of products and services.  Homemakers however, are using the Internet most of the time for pleasure, entertainment, or personal satisfaction.  At present, they are sending e-mails, playing computer games, or entering chat rooms, the electronic discussion groups in which they can exchange written messages and communicate with members of their families, friends, and strangers all over the world on their computers.  So then, in this way, they are connected to the network for long periods of time.
